Occupatio Salvus Consultarios (Pty) Ltd also known as OSC Safety Consulting and Training is a consulting orientated company focused on providing specialist Health and Safety services to the private & construction industry mainly focusing on assisting established and medium to large contractors with health and safety systems, staff and support. As consultants, we act in the interest of both the employer and employee through thorough assessment of each workplace on merit and by creating a complete site specific Occupational Health and Safety System built on specific site hazards and requirements. We can provide solutions for client’s onsite Health and Safety needs in terms of the establishment of health and safety systems.

Consulting

We can assist with consulting / system implementation / system monitoring. Services includes Compliance Audits, Risk Assessments, ISO Systems, SHE Compliance, SHE Safety and Site Safety Files, SHE Training and SHE needs analysis, OHSA etc.

Auditing

We can assist with Baseline / Legal Compliance audits, Insurance CRM audits, Insurance Risk audits, Regular audits according to SLA and Audit Protocol such as safety hazards, health hazards, environmental impact hazards etc.

Specialised Risk Assessments

We can assist with specialised risk assessments where we draw up risk assessments reports and fall protection planning etc.

Construction Health & Safety Managment

We are registered construction health and safety mangers and can assist with all your construction health and safety management for projects on a contract basis.

Training

We can assist with Accredited training where SAQA / SAIOSH / DOL accreditations are in place. We also provide workshop training based on unit standards and accredited and non-accredited site specific training including in-house training material according to client needs and specific unit standards..

Training Courses

We have experience and competency in providing a variety of courses including: SHE Representative, Incident Investigation, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, OSHACT - Legal Liability, Hazardous Chemical Management, Confined Space Management, Environmental Management etc.

Train the Trainer Courses

We offer courses (facilitator, assessor & moderator) to facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies (Level 05 C10), conduct outcomes based assessments (Level 05 C15), and conduct moderation of outcomes based assessments (Level 06 C10). Our courses are ETDP SETA approved.

Basic First Aid, CPR and Fire Fighting Training

We are SAIOSH and SETA Accredited and can offer basic Fire Fighting Level 1, First Aid Level 1 and 2 and CPR Level 1 training courses for individuals and businesses.
